Kentucky Transportation Center Oral History Project

The Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) is part of the University of Kentucky’s College of Engineering. The Center serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research and technology transfer on the diverse issues associated with providing safe, efficient, and fiscally responsible transportation systems. In this project, interviewees describe partnerships with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the Federal Highway Administration, and governmental agencies throughout Kentucky. Interviewees discuss the history, mission, and contributions of KTC, their careers and their involvement with KTC. The interviewees, who include former directors, employees, legislators, and partners, also provide a history of transportation in Kentucky.
